Sims Series

Postby Zarthanon » 24 Mar 2011, 07:49

Any other Sims enthusiasts here? The Sims Medieval was released yesterday, but I am not getting it till tomorrow, so wanted to hear anyone else's first impressions. Is it worth the money?

I love the Sims series! I didn't even know about The Sims Medieval :D I just watched the trailer and it looks like a lot of fun! I'd also like to know people's impressions.

I watched a few videos of the gameplay on Youtube yesterday and wasn't as impressed as I was when first seeing the trailer. I will still eventually get it, but I think I will delay it for a while. The sandbox gameplay that makes The Sims so engrossing just isn't there with The Sims Medieval.

I'm not a fan, but I wouldn't mind playing it. It's still fun.
But, all I do is make characters, torture them in ridiculous ways, and get them arrested.

My favourite bit is building houses, shops, restaurants, and hotels. When The Sims 2: University was released several years back, I built an entire college campus from scratch.
