Game V1.5

You're a Greater Marked. This means for the rest of your days, you'll be hunted by the Turned, until you die and become one. You can't even fight it... directly. Traps will stop them, and so will hired blades. You've been on the road for a few days, but this spot looks as good as any, really. You decide to settle down, and try and build a base. You've got to, if you want to survive.

You have 10 turns till nightfall.
You start with two guards, a horse and a wagon of supplies, in addion to yourself.

Orders:
Build a log wall around the camp site. In a square 3x3 centred on the fire. Leave a gap in the centre of the left wall for entry/exit.
Chop the top off the tree in the top left of the new fort, and build a platform on top, with a ladder up, to allow us a spot to watch from.
Pull the canvas from the wagon and in the bottom left corner string it up as a tent to give us some cover from the elements.

Darryl:
Will try to raise the dead in the area, squirrels or anything. These will be assigned as lookouts to alert us if there are any people approaching.
If there are no dead: Will instead help with the building of the fort.

You start to set up walls and a lookout, for your first night.

You have 5 turns till nightfall.
You use 14 lumber to makes walls. You gain 1 lumber but use 2 lumber making a lookout in the tree.

Have one of the guard scout, but make sure he's back before nightfall, have the rest make a gate for the wall gap.

Edit: I forgot the rocks and the shadows, I've added them in the document, so all future tile maps should include them.

The Guard scouts out the road some more, finding a Gatestones. Gatestones are often were people gather, for one reason or another.

You have 4 turns till nightfall.
You use 2 lumber on making a gate.

Tear down the bridge, hopefully it'll help keep people away, or at least slow them down.

Darryl will spend the time using Dark Magic to make the entire area feel foreboding, and scary. In an attempt to keep casual people away from the region.

I vote against tearing down the bridge, it would stifle trade, which is useful. (I've played in 2 other marked games)
Our main enemy is the turned, who are attracted by the taint, which is why we shouldn't infuse it with dark magic, it just attracts more powerful undead.

We need efficient defenses, not visual ones.
I say we make somewhere we can make a bow, on the southeast part of inside the palisade, so we can shoot anyone who tries to break through the gate, from the watchtower.

You consider making the area more mencing and harder to approch, but then, what about merchants?

You build a forge, which takes 8 stone, 2 Lumber and 5 iron. Both Guards will be busy finishing it next turn.
