I suddenly want to abuse my modpowers and delete this >.>

Stay away from MMO's they will swallow your soul.
The following statement is true. The previous statement is false.

'Poison' is such a harsh word. I prefer 'Potion of Shut the Hell Up.

You know what the best part about this weather is? The Zombies will freeze to death. Er... Undeath.

I can attest to this from personal experince; and that includes forum style MMO gaming too!

I was a WOW addict for a long time, but did a little EVE around that.

I was a WoW addict once upon a time. I was pressured by my college buddies to buy one of those 14-day trials and I got hooked. Grades started to slip, sleep was being forgotten, but at least my warlock was leveling up. Once real life became a little more hectic, I was forced to free myself from the WoW drug.

But, when I started my first career-related job, my co-workers pressured me back into it! Ugh. Then Warhammer Online came around and we started playing that, too. I eventually left WoW for WAR, but luckily WAR wasn't very captivating, so it was relatively easy to drop.

I went a few months without an MMO, but then the itch turned into withdrawal. I thought about crawling back to WoW, but I knew I didn't have time for it. I couldn't resist anymore, so I decided to try EVE. I'm glad I did! I stuck with it for a few months and my favourite feature was that you could leave the game and your character would still be learning skills, offline. I had a lot of fun with EVE, but then life got even more hectic and I dropped it. I wonder if my character is still learning something?

I realized that I enjoy the futuristic/sci-fi setting more than the medieval/fantasy setting, so I'm really excited for SWTOR :D

One of these days someone has to create a 40K online. It would be awesome sauce.

Warhammer? I thought they had one.

A fantasy one, not a 40K one.
However that would quickly end up as either WoW with guns, or just another failed MMOFPS.
FPS's dont do so good as MMO's because you need low ping to a server to be able to hit anything.

And yeah EVE is soul sucking, but in a good way. ;)

So how are we feeling about the game breaking, content lacking, content removing, strategy killing, money grubbing, and outright crappy incarna expansion?
Woof.
