Dragon Age 2

Postby Unbeknownst » 26 Mar 2011, 15:35

Opinions? Reviews? Masterful tales of wholesale slaughter?
The following statement is true. The previous statement is false.

'Poison' is such a harsh word. I prefer 'Potion of Shut the Hell Up.

You know what the best part about this weather is? The Zombies will freeze to death. Er... Undeath.

All I have to say is this: War Dogs.
They scare the living hell out of me. Unless I'm the one telling it what to do.

the one enemy class that i absolutely hate is the healer mages, if I'm about to kill a boss enemy and then a small group of them walks into the battle, the boss gets healed to full health and my entire party dies (this happened several times)

Looks ok, but after watching the Yogscast attempt at it, and the whole idea of everyone having bodygaurds hidden in the flanks, I don't like the look of it too much :/

What bodyguards hidden in the flanks? Do you mean the archers?

The game was definitaly made for sorcerer characters. I found my second playthrough as one (first was a warrior) much more devastating, as long as you have your tanks up front keeping the ennemy away from you.

It wasn't really made for anything. You can do well as any class. I mean, my warrior did almost as much damage as my rogue. Until I made my Rogue godlike. Rogues just auto attack, it's funny how fast everything dies. Mages can kill a large group with a single spell combo yeah, good for fighting groups. But a rogue completely obliterates bosses. Endgame took me about 10 minutes, mostly because of cutscenes. And warriors just don't die. Seriously, my warrior was never knocked out.
